Boatwright Bootcamp — Refund & Cancellation Policy

All registrations for Boatwright Bootcamp are final and non-refundable.

Boatwright Bootcamp is a 3-day, hands-on intensive with strictly limited seats. Each registration triggers significant planning on our end — venue contracts, instructor scheduling, athlete and team coordination, equipment, materials, and meals are all reserved and paid for well in advance of the event. Once you reserve your seat, that capacity is removed from availability and cannot reasonably be resold on short notice.

By registering for Boatwright Bootcamp, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to: change of plans, scheduling conflicts, illness, travel issues, weather affecting your ability to attend, work obligations, or failure to attend.
  • No partial refunds for missed days or early departure from the bootcamp.
  • Seat transfers: Your Boatwright Bootcamp seat may be transferred to another photographer or employee from the same studio with written approval from Jay Boatwright at least 14 days before the bootcamp start date. Transfers requested within 14 days of the start date are not guaranteed. Seats may not be transferred to photographers from a different studio.
  • Group registrations (+1 and +2 options): The discounted +1 and +2 seats are intended for photographers and employees from the same studio as the primary registrant. If the additional attendees are not from the same studio, your registration may be canceled without refund.
  • Credits: At our sole discretion, we may offer a one-time credit toward a future Boatwright Bootcamp event for cancellations made more than 30 days before the start date. Credits are non-transferable, expire 12 months from the date of issue, and are not available for cancellations inside the 30-day window.
  • Rescheduling due to circumstances beyond our control: If Boatwright Bootcamp is rescheduled due to a hurricane, severe weather, natural disaster, venue loss, or other event outside our control, your registration will automatically transfer to the new dates at no additional cost. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit toward a future Boatwright Bootcamp event, valid for 12 months. Boatwright Bootcamp is not responsible for travel, lodging, or any other costs incurred by attendees.
  • If we cancel the bootcamp outright: In the unlikely event that Boatwright Bootcamp is canceled entirely with no rescheduled date offered, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.
  • Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback in violation of this policy will result in immediate forfeiture of your seat and may result in collection action for the disputed amount plus any associated fees.
